The Global Drug Regulatory Conclave was held in New Delhi, India, on July 30–31, 2026. The event was jointly organized by the Pharmaceuticals Export Promotion Council of India (PHARMEXCIL) and the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO). The conclave brought together over 60 qualified experts and officials from the regulatory bodies responsible for pharmaceuticals in more than 40 countries including of the leading nations that shape the global pharmaceutical sector, such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, and Russia. During the two-day event, presentations were submitted and sessions were held which covering key priority areas, including the global future of the pharmaceutical sector, regulatory mechanisms, and drug safety. At the conclusion of the event program on the second day, an official site visit to the headquarters and laboratory complex of the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) was organized for the conclave participants. During the visit, the organization’s practical activities and experience were examined firsthand.
The Azerbaijan was represented at the event by Shirin Shahbazov, Head of the Import-Export Department for Medicinal Products at the Analytical Expertise Center of the Ministry of Health.
