Analytical Expertise Center of MOH, which carries out state control and regulation of the quality, efficacy and safety of medicines in the country, regularly cooperates with other state institutions in order to more effectively eliminate problems arising in the circulation of medicines in the field of pharmaceuticals. A meeting was held with the officials of numerous pharmacy chains whose operations were found to have deficiencies as a result of inspections conducted in the framework of joint cooperation with the Chief Anti-Corruption Department under the Prosecutor General at the AEC. At the meeting, discussions were held on the topics of elimination of deficiencies encountered in pharmacies, promotion of the requirements of the existing legislation, and educational support for entrepreneurs in the field of pharmaceuticals. In particular, it was once again brought to the attention of representatives of pharmacy chains that the operation of unlicensed pharmacies, the sale of unregistered medicines in pharmacies, the employment of uncertified pharmacists, as well as fines and criminal liability under the Code of Administrative Offenses are provided for other violations. During the meeting, entrepreneurs’ questions were answered, their problems were heard, and joint solutions were discussed.
