Analytical Expertise Center (AEC) of the Ministry of Health conducts scheduled and unscheduled inspections in private medical institutions. It should be noted that during the first quarter of this year, 49 out of 77 private medical institutions included in the list of scheduled inspections were inspected. As a result, deficiencies were identified at 38 medical institutions . In other 28 private medical institutions, it was not possible to carry out inspections due to refusal of registration, change of address, repair or cancellation of license, and no deficiencies were found in 11 institutions.
At the same time, inspections were carried out at 28 out of 33 medical institutions scheduled for unscheduled inspections. As a result, deficiencies were identified in 8 medical institutions.
Based on the results of the monitoring, 52 protocols were drawn up and sent for implementation under Articles 210.1, 215.1 and 215.4 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (Co. AO).
It should be noted that according to Article 210.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (for engaging in private medical activities or a pharmacy without a license), a fine of 2,000 to 3,000 azn is imposed on individuals, on officials from 5,000 to 10,000 azn, on legal entities from 20,000 to 30,000 azn.
According to Article 215.1 Co. AO (for the admission of persons (employees) who have not passed attestation in accordance with the law, to medical and pharmaceutical activities), individuals are fined from 300 to 500 azn, officials from 800 azn to 1000 azn, for legal entities from 6000 to 8000 azn.
In addition, the compliance of the conditions created at the addresses of 67 private medical institutions with the requirements of regulatory legal acts was assessed, a positive conclusion was given on 55 applications for obtaining a license.
