In December, in Seoul, with the support of the Korean Embassy in Azerbaijan, a 3-week training “Global Training Hub for Biomanufacturing GTH-B”, “Introductory Course for standard Practice (GxP)” was held, organized by the Ministry of Health and Social Labor of South Korea and the International Institute Vaccines.
The training from 45 countries was attended by 144 representatives from Africa, the CIS, Southeast Asia and South America. Azerbaijan was represented by Natavan Pashayeva, an employee of AEC of MOH.
During the training, lectures were given on many important topics in the pharmaceutical field. The trainings were conducted by international certified experts. An “Interactive Activity” was conducted with questions on each topic presented and group assignments continued.
Excursions around the enterprises were organized for the training participants, of particular practical importance was the training participants for visual practice at the enterprises “GC Biopharma” (produces vaccines and recombinant protein preparations), “Boditech Med” (produces kits and trial medical devices). In addition, an excursion to the Korean International Vaccine Institute was organized and presentations were made on many current topics.
Presentations by representatives of several large companies involved in the production of biotechnological drugs became productive for the professional activities of the participants. At the end of the training, participants were awarded certificates.
