In August 2026, the Analytical Expertise Center of the Ministry of Health conducted inspections at a total of 70 pharmacies. Of these inspections, 48 took place in Baku, while 22 were conducted at pharmacies located in other cities and districts of the country.
The inspections comprised 51 scheduled checks, 16 unscheduled checks, and 3 checks conducted outside the standard inspection framework.
Various violations were identified at 19 pharmacies as a result of the inspections. In connection with these cases, relevant administrative protocols were drawn up in accordance with Articles 210.1, 215.4, 221.1, 452.1, and 452.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
