Director of the Agency for Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry of Uzbekistan Abdulla Azizov, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan as part of the summit of heads of state and government of countries participating in the UN Special Program for the Economies of Central Asia – SPECA, visited the Analytical Expertise Center of MOH on November 24. The guests were received by Deputy General Director Rafik Khudayev.
At the meeting with the leadership of AEC, was discussed the successful development of cooperation between the countries in all areas of bilateral relations, also in the pharmaceutical field. It was noted that mutual visits of heads of state at a high level, holding meetings, and signing various documents in various fields contribute to strengthening relations between our countries. The use of “Electronic Prescription”, the process of registration of medicines and medical products, and the use of the “Track and Trace” program to strengthen control over medicines were also discussed. At the time were discussed the further expansion and prospects of relations between the two structures. It was noted that the successful development of Azerbaijani-Uzbek relations in all areas will also contribute to the further strengthening of cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector in the coming years.
