The Khojaly genocide entered the history of Azerbaijan as one of the most terrible and tragic pages of history. The national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev said in his address to the Azerbaijani people on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the Khojaly genocide: “This merciless and cruel act of genocide entered the history of mankind as one of the most horrific acts of mass terrorism.”
31 years have passed since the Khojaly tragedy. This date was also noted at the Center for Analytical Expertise of the Ministry of Health. Employees gathered in hall of the Center and honored the memory of those killed in the Khojaly tragedy with a minute of silence. Mammad Rasulov, head of the Department of Registration and Examination of Food Supplements and Medical Devices, spoke about the chronology and details of the tragedy. Later, a documentary film was shown about that bloody story – the Khojaly tragedy.
