Farid Hasanov, Head of the Pharmacovigilance Department of the Analytical Expertise Center (AEС), a public legal entity under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan, participated in HealthIL Week 2026, Israel’s leading healthcare innovation event, held in Tel Aviv from January 18–22, 2026.
Representing the Center, Farid Hasanov attended this prestigious event that brought together over 65 healthcare organizations, more than 100 startups, and representatives from the industry, government, and investment sectors to explore the latest developments in Israeli healthcare innovation systems.
As in previous years, HealthIL Week is organized through the collaboration of HealthIL, Israel’s national healthcare innovation ecosystem, and Startup Nation Central, serving as an important platform for international collaboration and knowledge exchange in the healthcare sector. The event was also supported by the Israeli Ministry of Economy, the Israeli Ministry of Health, the Israel Innovation Authority, and the Global Jewish Aid organization.
This year’s event featured pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers, companies integrating artificial intelligence into healthcare systems, startup companies, and leading Israeli hospitals, including Teva, AWS, Oracle Health, AstraZeneca, AbbVie, Novartis, Bayer, Medtronic, Nvidia, KPMG, AION Labs, Pitango, Matrix Medika, Chameleon, Philips, ALYN Hospital, Reuth Rehabilitation Hospital, Shaare Zedek Medical Center, Rambam Health Care, and others.
The AEС representative participated in key conference sessions exploring the next stage of Israeli healthcare innovation, visited exhibition and conference facilities, held meetings with healthcare organizations and technology providers, attended startup sessions, and engaged in networking events with ecosystem leaders and decision-makers.
Through participation in the event, AEС gained insights into global healthcare innovations and accessed new international partnership opportunities. Participants received valuable information on healthcare technologies, innovative business models, and best practices in the delivery and management of healthcare services.
